2012 Lease Expiry Information For CMHO Users
CMHO's current lease with BCFPI inc. expires on March 31, 2012. Your current V3 software will cease functioning on May 31, 2012. CMHO will provide instructions about your lease update after it renews its agreement with MCYS, expected later in April 2012.
You can continue using your V3 software after this 2012 - 2013 lease extension.
However, BCFPI Inc. is recommending that agencies upgrade to the web version, V4, ASAP. There is a marginal cost for Ontario agencies to make this conversion.
A business case for making the conversion is available. This involves various aspects of 'best practices', V4's capacity to improve service system capacity, responsiveness and effectiveness, and support improved risk management by agencies (data integrity and security). If you convert to V4, CMHO will directly obtain your non-identifying data from the V4 database, without the need for you to make quarterly exports. CMHO will continue to participate and be available to you to provide user support and training. Basic use of V4 is very similar to V3 so that basic V3 - V4 training requirements are minimal.
BCFPI Inc. will respond to agency conversion requests on a 'first-come, first-served' basis.
UPDATE -
May 3, 2012
With the 3.2.37 BCFPI release, the CMHO license has been extended.
